Turn your link in bio into a home for your music
Fans find you through a short clip, then tap your bio. Here's how to let them listen right there, save your songs, and find your merch and shows.
fayvi ·
Somebody hears fifteen seconds of your song under a video. They like it enough to tap your profile, then your bio link. What happens next decides whether they become a listener or forget your name by dinner.
If the page makes them pick a streaming service, open an app and search for you, some of them drop off at every step. Let them hear the song first.
Let them listen right on the page
On fayvi: add a Music player block and upload your tracks (up to 25 MB each) with your cover art. The player draws each track's waveform and comes in four looks: a compact bar, a card, an album with a big cover, or a spinning vinyl.
Place the player where it works best:
- among your other blocks, like any link
- above your profile, so the music is the first thing people see
- pinned to the bottom of the screen, so it stays within reach while visitors scroll
Under the player, add "Listen on" buttons for Spotify, Apple Music and the rest, so people who like the song can save it where they actually listen. A first play counts as a click in your analytics, so you can see how many visitors pressed play.
Prefer embeds? Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and YouTube embeds work too.
Make streaming links open in the app
A Spotify link that opens a web page inside Instagram's browser is one more screen to get past. On phones, fayvi tries to open links to Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud and other music apps in the app itself when it's installed, and falls back to the web page when it isn't.
Plan release day ahead
- Pre-save first, stream after. Put your pre-save link up while you build up to the release. Give the release block a go-live time so it appears at midnight on release day, and give the pre-save a take-down time.
- One link for one day. On release day, a temporary redirect can send everyone who taps your bio straight to the song, then switch back to your page on its own.
- One block that moves. Give the new release a pulse or glow animation. Only that one.
Give merch its own tab
Product cards show a photo, a price and a button. The button goes to your own store's checkout, wherever you sell: fayvi doesn't handle the sale. Put the cards on a Shop tab, so fans can browse without scrolling past your discography. Like every tab, it has its own link: fayvi.co/yourname/shop.
Add a Tour tab the same way, with a ticket link for each date, and give each date a take-down time for the day after the show.
Keep the fans you just made
Streams come and go with the algorithm. A mailing list stays. Add one with a clear promise ("New music and show dates, before anyone else"). When you announce a tour, those are the people you'll want to tell first.
For bookings, add a Form block for venues and promoters with the fields you need: date, city, venue, budget.
Take your page to the show
Put a QR code on the merch table, a poster by the stage or the screen between songs. With a dynamic QR code, the same printed code can point to the new single today and to the tour dates next month. Each code counts its scans, so you can see which nights people actually scanned.
Read your numbers like a setlist
- Clicks per link show which songs and stores people choose.
- Sources show whether fans came from TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, so you know where to post the next clip.
- Countries show where your listeners are, which helps when you plan dates.
The short version
- Let people listen on the page, with the music player or an embed.
- "Listen on" buttons under it, opening in the app on phones.
- Release day on a schedule: pre-save, go-live, redirect.
- Shop and Tour tabs, with product cards that link to your own checkout.
- A mailing list for the fans you just made.
- A dynamic QR code at your shows.
